Several people injured after suspected stolen car crashes while fleeing LMPD
This marks the second time in less than 24 hours that a car fleeing LMPD has overturned in a crash. Several people were injured after a suspected stolen car fled from police officers in Louisville Metro Police Department, causing several to be ejected and injured. The driver of the car reportedly accelerated at a high rate of speed and ran a red light before hitting another vehicle that had the right of way. One passenger was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition, while the other vehicle's driver is expected to survive. This is the second time in less than 24 hours that a car fleeing LMPD has overturned in a crash.
