Chris Brown Dodges Prison Time After Being Sentenced In U.K. Assault Case
Chris Brown avoided time in a London prison after he was sentenced in his assault case R&B singer Chris Brown has avoided prison time after pleading guilty to affray in a case involving him and his co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, also known as Florida rapper "HoodBaby," who serves as Brown's vocal coach. The charge stems from a brawl at a London nightclub in 2023. Akinlolo received a suspended sentence. Brown was charged last year after he and Akinlolou were accused of violently attacking music producer Abe Diaw. Diaw claimed Brown hit him in the head several times with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila. Brown and Akinolu were arrested in the UK in May before he was scheduled to begin his "Breezy Bowl XX World Tour" there.
